Do I need to add water?
No. The fleece cover pulls moisture from the air, and the heat turns it into moist heat. If your home is very dry, MaxHEAT PLUS lets you add moisture with a damp cloth.
Which one should I pick?
Choose Digital if you want to set an exact temperature or use heat for up to 60 minutes. Choose MaxHEAT if you want simple High, Medium and Low settings or need a smaller size.
How hot does it get?
The Digital lets you set 115°F to 170°F. For comfort and relaxing, 115°F to 140°F is recommended. For therapeutic moist heat, 140°F to 170°F is recommended. MaxHEAT has three settings.
Does it turn off by itself?
Yes. MaxHEAT turns off after 25 minutes. The Digital turns off when the timer you set runs out, up to 60 minutes.
Can I wash the cover?
Yes. The cover comes off and is machine washable.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Thermophore pads are HSA/FSA eligible.
